Finish it up Friday! – just a little late…

Today I finally managed to finish the tops for my lovely hand sewn and appliqué coasters, turns out I have a lot less time for hand sewing when I’m not sick and stuck on my bum all day!

Aren’t they so pretty! I’m really pleased with how they turned out, if only my house had more pink in it then I would be tempted to keep them!

I’ve had such a good evening I’m seeing stars… And maybe a few hearts too, I do love the hearts! These salt dough decorations are the easiest and cheapest thing to make ever, and so much fun! My big monkey can even join in and make his own decorations, which means more craft time for me! Yay! And to top off my brilliant craft day, once the kids were in bed I even managed to fit in a bit of jewelry making in front of the TV, so relaxing…

Friday Finishes!

Friday Finishes!

Here are my finishes for the week:

First up is my new denim skirt and scarf, both are refashioned from clothes my lovely husband has donated my way. The skirt I made from a pair of jeans that were a little on the small side, and the scarf is made from two old tshirts he no longer wanted. I originally made the scarf to go with my new darling ranges dress as the neckline is quite open, and the weather is a little on the chilly side for showing off so much skin, however my son declared it the best scarf ever and insists I must now wear it every day! Oh dear! I do LOVE new clothes though, and if they are free then even better!
